Senior Backend / Cloud Web3 Engineer - Remote\nPremia is a decentralized options exchange connecting traders and liquidity providers of all backgrounds. The exchange offers non-custodial financial options to hedge, speculate, or access reasonable leverage on digital assets. Premia offers first of its kind automated market maker solutions in the DeFi space for options contracts through our use of Concentrated Liquidity Pools and Dynamically Priced Option Vaults. Premia enables best-in-class pricing on the exchange by taking advantage of the best available modern technologies and making them available to DeFi options on the Ethereum blockchain (including on Layer-2 networks such as Arbitrum). We are a growing, globally distributed organization with opportunities for remote-first work. Despite being a relatively small team, we are one of the most impactful teams in crypto. \nWeโ€™re seeking a passionate, self-motivated software engineer to help us build the next generation of decentralized financial products. As a key engineering team member, you will gain ownership and responsibility over building and maintaining our existing suite of backend systems and infrastructure, while contributing to our user-facing products. You will focus on delivering high-performance, highly resilient, scalable solutions that power our trading platforms, analytics, and more.\nWho are you?\nA senior-level full-stack/backend engineer (Cloud veteran) with a solid background in financial applications and relevant backend technologies (e.g. Typescript, NodeJS, Python, databases, cloud services, network infrastructure, etc.). You are familiar with decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain (or complementary Layer-2 networks) such as Premia and Uniswap, as well as centralized crypto applications such as Deribit and Coinbase, and understand the backend technologies and cloud services often used by these projects.\nYou are passionate about building highly scalable, resilient, and performant software systems for the next generation of financial applications on the internet and have a wide set of skills and experience to execute on this. You understand the necessity for building dependable, scalable, and developer-friendly systems in order to support realtime financial applications. \nYou have experience and are culturally aligned with fast-moving small teams. You have worked in a remote (globally distributed) team before, preferably in a startup environment. You are self-driven, highly knowledgeable about building performant, scalable Cloud services, and can swiftly ship high quality software systems when needed. You can identify company priorities, own them, and iterate quickly to ship the best solution within aggressive deadlines.\nYou understand the necessity of thoroughly testing financial applications and the systems thereof before and after shipping any service to production. Territory Managers will also help farmers access FBN Direct โ€“ a revolutionary way for growers to purchase crop inputs that provides farmers with price transparency on hundreds of products and a way to source low-cost chemicals delivered straight to the farm. FBN Direct has saved thousands of dollars for hundreds of farmers through its offerings.  Finally, the FBN Territory Manager is critical to the commercialization process for new products and services being launched on a regular basis. \n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThe FBN Senior Territory Manager will be responsible for recruiting farmers and maintaining high grower satisfaction with FBN. They will also provide a seamless and highly differentiated crop input transaction experience while maintaining high grower sanctification with FBN from post-harvest conversations all the way to pre-season delivery.
